Still have not got my taxes back!

The lady that did our taxes got the email that we should receive our taxes by the 7th. Well here it is a week later and they are still not in there. I have no idea what is going on. WE have never had this problem before. We got our state so I know the account info is right. I just hope everything is alright and that we get it soon!

Maybe you got audited

Call the IRS. That happened to us and it's because they took it all to pay a debt of mine:/

I have no debts with them or any loans that would give them a reason to take my money.

I would aalso call. This same thing happeneed to SO this year. It was for student loans from 13 years ago & they barely took it now

That's what they took ours for but were trying to get it back as an injured spouse because I had the debt before we were married and DH is the only one who worked.

You never know, we didn't get our full amount last year because of a mistake that I'd done a few years before. It will catch up to you if you have and it's weird that your state came before federal.

OP I would call the IRS. Did you do direct deposit? A few years ago I forgot 1 number for my account number so they had to mail out a check so it took longer than expected.

I have never done my taxes myself I have always had my accountant do it. We have always had a simple form so there isn't much to mess up on. My accountant said that a lot of people are having a problem not just her clients so I hope they get it together soon.

we did e-file but my accountant already has all of that saved from the year before and we have never had that problem before.
