Oh. Well did the dr mention anything about IUGR being a possibility? Cause I'm sure if they were concerned, they would be keeping very close eyes on you. At least they did in my case. In any way, I'm sure your baby will be fine waiting till Tuesday even though it IS very nerve wracking, I know. I felt the same way with my second daughter bc I'd already been through one struggle with it and my dr wanted to keep her in longer. It turned out fine in the end. Just try to relax as much as possible and if you get concerned, I would call and express your concerns to your dr.

Quoting V & E's Mom! [36 weeks]:" Not exactly sure if thts what is going on or if she's going to be small we will see what my OB says but ... [snip!] ... through this, what was YOUR doctors way of handling the situation. Were you induced ASAP? Or after a certain point, or what.  "

one of my friends had IUGR with her daughter and they waited it out WEEKS when she was born at 36 weeks she was 4 lbs. They just monitored her a lot & made sure that the baby was putting on weight, even if just a little.

No I haven't seen my OB since Monday, and I won't see her again until Tuesday. I get my ultrasounds done at a diagnostic imaging place and they send the results to my OB. The tech isn't allowed to say much about the ultrasound. I specifically asked her average measurements and what they came out to be. And her weight. My OB won't get the results until Monday. And I see her Tuesday.

Well thankfully I'm considered "term" tomorrow but I wanted to make it until she cAme on her own. So if anything NEEDs to be done immediately I atleast am term. (Which means nothing but I'm 37 weeks) and because she is not a preemie anymore she would hopefully not have any complications. (I can hope)

Still hoping she comes when she's ready and not be forced out and risk her having issues.

Did they say what her weight is?? The ultrasound machine can be off by several pounds depending on the situation.. My son came at 33 weeks due to IC & over active uterus and he was a surprising 5 lbs 1.3 oz & healthy.. So hopefully she will be a good weight as well being a 37 weeker
