Ribeye steak:How do you cook yours?

I am cooking DH and I a thick juicy ribeye steak tonight and am curious to know how you all cook yours... How long, what seasonings and all that

Ohh yum! It usually depends on what seasonings we have. Sometimes we will use seasoned salt, garlic salt, and maybe add a little bit of parsley. Other times we get really good seasoning..I can't remember what it is called, but it is amazing lol. SO always cooks his medium-rare. Mine is medium.

I use salt, pepper, onion powder, and olive oil. I put the grill on high heat to sear the outside for a few minutes and then turn it over and put it on lower heat. Do you have a meat thermometer? We usually cook them about 8-10 min. It depends on how he likes it done.

We always grill our ribeyes. About 4-5 minutes on each side, for medium rare.

As for seasoning I just marinade them in a little soy sauce. I don't like a lot of seasonings on my steak. I like to taste the meat! MM, now I want a steak!

sometimes i get creative and use random spices.. we have tons to choose from in our house lol

i need to invest in a spice rack because im running out of room

I LOVE trying different things while cooking. I really need to get a spice rack too! That is a great idea lol.

lol, same here!

My mom's SO just uses random spices and doesn't even think about it and her meat always tunrs out yummy and full of flavor. She literally just starts sprinkling a little this & that
