Cause I'm not the only one

Who hates valentines day. Lol
I don't even care about the holiday and me and DH usually celebrate on the 7th because that's our anniversary.

But I get sad seeing how happy everyone is with their flowers (I've never gotten flowers before) and their fancy gifts.
*sigh* I just wish DH would think long enough to realise I am a girl and I would like surprise flowers too  . Even just A flower would be nice. I constantly give him hints about how I'd like a single white rosé because that's what my wedding bouquet was made out of.
He just doesn't get it..

But nope... And of course he'll be sitting there after my 12 hour day once i get home, exercise, and shower, just waiting for a BJ because "it's Valentines Day".

Most men are not good at taking subtle hints.

You would do well to just tell him that it hurts your feelings when he does not get you a small present for the occasion

its an annoying holiday single or not. i mean people shouldnt need an excuse to show the people in their lives that theyre loved. people get too stressed and worked up over a 'hallmark' holiday in my opinion. ive never ever cared about this day

My husband is awful about remembering vday, so I sent him a text reminding him of it this year. We'll see how far that got me.  

Yeah... Don't drop hints. I know we would love for men to do things on their own and with out us telling them- but they don't get hints. A lot of men will even tell you to not drop hints because they don't get them

The 7th is our dating anniversary!! Vday isn't really a big deal here either. My husband is in the field and wont be home for over a week *sigh* you should tell him straight up I want some flowers lol. My husband is really good about picking up on my hints but most men aren't. Just tell him and maybe you will get some. Send him a text and maybe there will be some waiting for you when you get home.

Yeah, I'm curious to see what I come home to.. I already told him I was broke as hell this week so not to expect too much, but I did make him something for the occassion and I'm hoping he likes it.. but I know he gets paid today lol so I'm hoping he'll at least do SOMETHING for me. I really don't get too impressed with flowers or a nice dinner.. I feel like that's what he falls back on usually, it'd be nice to get something different for once.. not even like jewelry or something big, just something little and sweet and different. But we'll see what happens when I go home tonight..
