re: Weaning....

I'm right there with ya lady...Kendyl is 13 months old today and we're starting to Wean too...it makes me sad, i'm going to miss that special bonding moment that I have with her!   honestly the only time that she still nurses is when shes going to sleep..and even then shes hardly getting anything at all..maybe an ounce or 2 at the most..I think its more like a comfort thing to help her go to sleep! I know its about time that I stop, but it really does make me sad!   it was an awesome experience..i'm so glad that I chose to breastfeed..and you can bet then when I have my next baby I will do the same!

My mother engraved it into my mind that there is NO other option, you breastfeed and that's it. I know it's not the best idea to teach your kids, but it was the easiest for me. I breastfed all my babies, and it's always fit us just perfectly.

I'm pretty sad too, he might be our last. Like I mentioned, I tried to nurse him tonight and he was just giggling and laughing, he doesn't care.
