If you bake often

posted 14th Feb
Im baking for Valentines day, Im making 2 recipes, (and i don't bake often!!) therefore I don't have a beater, if something says to beat,(one of the recipes says beat and one says whisk, so the whisking one I am not worried about) so if I whisk instead of beat in the one is it going to turn out the same? Probably a stupid question but I don't even want to waste my time if it isn't going turn out right.

Use a fork. Whisk and beat are the same thing lol. Stir that smurf.

Unless you are making like, whipped cream.

often times when recipes say to beat you can use a fork or whisk and it will turn out good.

I bake A LOT. And beating is different than whisking. It will probably turn out, but it won't be the same.

this is what I want to make, and some of the reviews say it didn't turn out the same. So I don't want it to turn out crappy.

You don't really need a beater unless you are doing whipped cream or egg whites.

How did it turn?

But I can tell you right now mine does not look like this.
You were suppose to set aside 3é4 of a cup of the red batter, drop it over the cream cheese topping and make swirls, which sounds easy enough. Except the batter was so thick it was very hard to do. Im a idiot, and I don`t do well under pressure, so I put it in the microwave thinking it would melt it , LOL...duh. Cooked it. Eff me!
So it doesnt look like this, but hopefully it taste good. Im not a baker, this is forsure. At least my supper will be presentable. lol
