Quoting Queen B*:" We're thinking about having a second child, talking with my cousin who is pregnant I said the thought ... [snip!] ... or you to have a vaginal birth unless of course there's a reason for csection.. So is it weird for a doctor to let you choose?"
I don't know how weird it is.. I know I'll probably be asked which I'm going to want because I had a c-section with my first, but the way I see it.. her body, her choice. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do when they ask, I'm probably going to go for vaginal delivery but at the same time I'll know what to expect with a c-section. Some people have a real fear of going into labor.. I read about a woman who ran out of the hospital during labor because she was terrified, so if that's the case.. why not have a c-section? If it's what she's comfortable with, so be it. I don't see how it's irresponsible..
