UTI in a 8 mos old
posted 14th Feb
so one of the bebes got diagnosed with UTI yesterday.
what a smurfing ordeal!
five hours at the pedi's office UNBELIEVABLE
an hour's wait; another two for testing (try collecting urine from a sick feverish 8 mos old....); another two to wait for dr's office to run and get the antibiotic injection...
all the while, we sat and waited, at the pedi's office, during flu season, with not one, but both infants! BAH!!!!!
question: D woke up with a fever still this morning. low, but still a fever. they go back for part 2 of the antibiotic shot today at 4 (24 hrs after part 1 of the shot)
would you have expected for the fever to be totally gone within 12 hours of the antibiotic shot?
anyways, i'd be interested in hearing any one else's experience with UTIs in infants girls...
not fun tho. definitely not.
