when can i start shopping

Hi everyone , i am 15 weeks pregnant so i just wanna ask when is the right time to do a baby shopping?

I'm 16 weeks and haven't bought anything yet. I'm just saving up. Still too soon, IMO, but to each their own!

I didn't buy anything until after my baby shower.

I waited until I knew what I was having before I started shopping (but you only have a few more weeks before you find out, right?). Obviously, you're going to need a crib so you could get that now, or a neutral-colored stroller/car seat.. unless you want everything to be girly for a girl or boy-themed for a boy. And you can't start stocking up on diapers and wipes too early.. but some babies are more sensitive to certain diapers/wipes so I wouldn't get a bunch of the same ones until you have him/her and know for sure what works for them. Same with bottles..

I started shopping after I knew what I was having. I did most of my shopping at 24 weeks, and now that i'm 36 weeks, I been buying just wipes and diapers now.

If you're having a baby shower wait until after. Also if you're not having a baby shower, wait until you know the sex. If you're not finding out the sex whenever. But in general whenever you want really. I found it easier to buy for her after I knew it was a her.

I bought gender neutral stuff and basics until I knew what I was having for sure. Which was at 15 weeks with a 3D ultrasound!   Then I went crazy!! Honestly you can start whenever you want, but if you're having a shower be sure to register for what you don't already have or you can expect a LOT of duplicate things you won't need.....
