Im going to cloth our next bub from birth and am just going to do prefolds in covers with a stay dry liner.

Probably cost about $100 max for a big stash.

Either that or alvababy newborn nappies.. both are cheap & re sell for a decent amount when you're finished with them.

Once they get bigger i dont mind spending more since they fit the 'one size' until toilet training.

honestly, prefolds!

just fold them into 3rds, lay it in a cover and you're done.

a stay dry microfleece liner or whatever is optional, but makes clean up easier.

You can wash prefolds in real hot water etc so dont have to worry about special wash instructions like pockets or A12's

Cloth is easy and really not time consuming Helen, I did it while working fulltime   and the daycare was understanding about it, I just had them tip out anything solid into the toilet then roll it up and pop it in the wet bag and I washed them when I got home   20 mins max a night, 5 to give the poop ones a quick scrub, and then like 5 mins to hang up and 10 mins to put away

Easy   and so fun!!

Haha i dont mind having another boy, i love my boys... but omg, i reallllly want to buy 'pretty' cloth next time around lol!
