expired?

How long can eggs last before they expire? There's 3 eggs left in a carton in my fridge that have been there for about 3 weeks. There is no expiration date on the carton that I can see. Help?

I never even bother reading the expiration date on eggs. I had a carton of eggs once that said it was a month expired. Put them in a glass of water and they all stayed on te bottom, non floated. Expirations on eggs are really just a guestimation.

Floating = bad

Sinking = good

Slow bob at top and then sink = almost bad

This. I had eggs that were a week old... so I did the water thing. They bobbed at the bottom, so I ate them anyways LOL. They weren't bad.
