how do you feel about these two pics? this one utterly pisses me off when i see it in the store. it's just uncalled for imo.



and how do you feel about this? would you do it? or do you consider it cruel. i'm not sure how i feel about it..

What pisses you off? That someone left the chicken by the sodas? Lol, I mean it'd piss me off if I was working there as a customer though, I don't pay much attention.

Second picture, I'd do the same if I was religious like that. However if my child throws a fit because she didn't get what she wanted on Christmas, she can take what she did he back and stay with absolutely nothing. I would also consider shopping for kids go would appreciate the gift but I don't know if I'd actually fall through with it.

The second one is a bit much in my opinion. Sure the kid was wrong but I would just make it that he couldn't use the ps3 for a few months.

idk its a little much to post the pic but the actual punishment itself is kinda like harsh but teaching him a good lesson

Hopefully the thawed meat won't be refrozen and sold. What if it got spoiled and people might get sick?

The second one - I generally don't meddle with parenting techniques unless the child is really being physically or psychologically damaged, and though I may not agree with it, it doesn't disturb me or upset me

The first pic is annoying... but doesn't make me mad. But I used to work at a grocery store and it's just annoying that some people are so lazy.
The second pic, I honestly don't really know how to feel about it. I'm torn between "that poor kid! that's kind of too mean!" and "that'll teach him a lesson he won't soon forget!" lol

dude a captain america figurine at church! i wanna go to that church lol. bet that wasnt cheap either. i think the punishment fits. kids younger and younger want more and more smurf its crazy

1. That's obnoxious. They might as well have stolen it because the meat is now ruined and no one paid for it.

2. Eh, bet that kid won't be a brat anymore. I don't think you should necessarily use social media as a weapon against your kid, but I do think that he learned a lesson. Hopefully he won't have to answer to this picture in high school from bullies though.

I think sometimes people don't think that doing these things on facebook or youtube could hugely impact their kids futures

I would maybe do #2 without taking a picture & publicly humiliating him over it. I am a huge fan of helping children understand they ARE in fact more fortunate in the material possessions thing than other kids & if they don't appreciate that, then they don't need to have it.

#1 is gross & lazy & annoys me.

Number 1 pisses me the smurf off too, but really, only because it's a cold food item. 99% of the time, a worker will see it and simply move it back to the cold food section without thinking. Which, will inevitably be spoiled by the time that happens so whoever ends up buying said meat will be the one who gets to play roulette with their stomach, unknowingly of course. Not to mention if the meat blood has started leaking onto the shelf, contaminating other products.
The other, meh. I don't really have an opinion.

People need to stop using the internet as a weapon. You can't do this and then expect your kid not to do nasty things to kids they don't like at school, in the future. It's setting a bad example.

that's why #1 pisses me off and what Moses said. if it were any other item it wouldn't bother me. i can see taking the ps3 from him for a while but don't know if i could be "mean" enough to make him return it...idk

yep ... its like the typical anti-spanking stance 'it'll just teach them to be violent'
