re: moms of small babies

At 9 months my dd was 14lbs 6oz. And 25 1/2 inches long. lol She is 12 months now and 17lbs 1/2 oz and only 26 1/2 inches long. She is really tiny. lol

I wouldnt worry at all. LO has been under the 3 percentile since she was just a few weeks old. 6 months old she was like 11lbs and so on. Some kids are tiny and some are tiny for reasons.

My dd goes back ay 2 yrs old to see genetics (they dismissed her in Oct) they just thought she was just really small. I personally think she has a growth disorder, but only cause she has a list of other medical concerns that go hand in hand with a few different kind of disorders kwim?

But I wouldnt worry too much on it. I always say at leasy she gets to wear her clothes for a long time. lol Still fits into 3-6 months clothes at 1 yrs old. lol

My 8 mo old is 15.5 lbs and 50th percentile. If you look at the percentile chart is really levels out past 6 months and weight gain is much slower. She only gained about 1 lb since she was 5 months. Her doc thought she was growing well.

She doesnt seem that small. My daughter is 15 months old and only weighs 21 pounds.

my DS fits into 3-6 month clothes at 1 too and he's big compares to DD at that age

I refused formula in the hospital DD had went from 6.12 to 5.8 and they tried to tell me my milk wasn't in yet so I got their pump and pumped an 8oz bottle stuck it in the fridge and when it settled it was over half cream

see, i guess i just have this preconceived notion that a chubby baby is a happy baby. if they're not chubby then there is either something medically wrong or the parent is doing something wrong. since they haven't found anything wrong with her, i feel i'm doing something wrong...

My daughter is 6 months and she weighs 12 lbs shes also 22 inches i like that shes tiny

Some babies are just small. My DD eats a lot she eats 6 meals a day and has 2 1/2 to 3 cups of whole milk a day plus other liquids and still does not gain. Lol

Your not doing anything wrong. She is just small.
