Hotel-Which one would you choose?

posted 13th Feb
So... I am last minute booking a hotel...like always.

I am going this weekend. There is only one hotel available with two rooms. Which one would you pick?

Additional Information: I will be staying there with SO and my 16 month old. He doesnt like sleeping in strange places, so he will most likely be in bed with us. I will be spending the first night there (unloading, etc) alone.

Option One- The one I just booked
Two Double Beds- Non Smoking- 3rd Floor

Option Two-
King Bed- Smoking ((I won't be smoking in the room))- First Floor

TIA

I would want the king probably so we could all sleep together but I wouldnt want to be in a smoking room. I would probably go with the doubles and ask if they had anything else when I check in.

I wouldn't do smoking. I doubt the air is cleaner in that area. And I am a smoker. I still get disgusted by the constant smell in the smoking rooms at hotels.

Non smoking. I am a smoke and do not stay in smoking rooms. I do not smoke in my house but my mother smokes in hers. I do not care what anyone says. You cannot get all of the smoke off of stuff.

I would never stay in a smoking room. Even if you do not smoke, the whole room is going to smell like smokers. DH and I have stayed many times in a double bed with a baby inbetween. You could also ask for a pack and play and try to get baby to sleep in there. But again, I would NOT take the smoking room.

Oh, well then, I'd go with the non smoking. You could always push the 2 beds together to make it bigger

That is what I am kind of thinking...

...well more of the nastiness on the floor. LO refuses to wear shoes still and will be playing on the floor.

I do really like the idea of the bigger bed. This will be the first time we see SO in a month, so I would like to not kick him off the bed.

I am bringing the pack and play and might ask for a portable crib, however, he screams bloody murder at times and I don't want to disturb anyone else.

But I get what you are saying.

True! Never thought of that!

Hopefully they won't be nailed to the wall. :/

I stayed in a smoking room once. Never again! It smelled like old moldy cigarettes. Disgusting
