GD babies

How many of you had GD and your baby was fine? If you had GD was there something wrong with the baby? What are the chances? Im freaking out here   as the days get closer

Had GD DD was born healthy 8 lb 7oz nothing was wrong.

Draven was a GD baby. He was born at 38 weeks 5 days via induction, 6 pounds 12 ounces. 21 inches long.

Then GD was gone immediatly after birth

Nope.

I had problems in labor, but it wasn't because of GD.

A friend of my MIL just had a baby recently and she had GD and from what I was told, she didn't really care to eat right or keep an eye on her sugar, but her LO was totally healthy and freaking huge. He weighed over 11lbs.  

I had GD with my daughter and she's just fine. As long as you're keeping your blood sugar levels under control, your baby will be just fine!

My daughter was born the same amount as your LO

Yeah I was on the pill to keep it under control because my levels were a little too high. But then with the diet they had me on they were controlled.

It's just worrysome when it's not kept under control

did they test your LOs

They think my 2nd was a GD baby. I passed my 3 hour barely and then showed signs of GD later on. She was born weighing in at 9lbs but she had jaundice that just would not go away but her bilirubin levels never got into the range where she needed light therapy. All of her pictures from around the first 2 weeks, she's yellow.
