Yeah her sugar was fine.

in the beginning, but I was also on insulin. I didn't get diagnosed until 34wks. It's all about controlling your blood sugars, if they continue to go up no matter what you do, tell your OB so they can put you on insulin.

if they're not worried about it, I wouldn't be. Just make sure you're eating right (I was counting carbs, Loved making pizza flat out wraps, pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings. had like no carbs ) always found things to eat.

My daughter was like a short chubby butterball lol. Now she's a tall chunky monkey lol. She's 13mo old and 23lbs 32in.

im scared theres going to be to much sugar in his pancreas i keep reading horror stories on google :/

Aw DD at her 15 month appointment was 24lb and 36 in. She used to be really chunky 20 lb at 6 months.

They thought I had GD with my daughter. I was actually hypoglycemic. My daughter was fine. I just watched my diet and blood sugars close and all turned out perfect!!

I had GD with my second. It was a major pain in the butt. The only things that I craved were junk food and sweets. I had to completely change everything I was eating and not give into my cravings. My blood sugar fasting was always around 90 and after eating it would go up to around 150-160. Sometimes a little higher. I had to control my diet and take glyburide. I never ended up on insulin. They kept telling me that my baby was going to be huge since my first was almost 9lbs without GD. She ended up being 8lbs 9 oz. My labor was super fast. She was born 30 minutes after getting to the hospital. The only problem she had was her cord around her neck, but that wasnt because of the GD. But she was perfectly healthy with no long term problems. Her blood sugar at birth was 40 and it went up normally after nursing for the first time. Also the GD was gone once I had her.
