If you don't work, how are you going to afford plane fare for you and your child to go to visit him, plus hotel and food, etc for 7-10 days every 3-4 months plus 1/2 of the major holidays?

Judge knew he wouldn't do it, and he's proven that so..

That's what I'm really, really hoping will happen. I mean, I didn't move to another state because I wanted to, I did it because I didn't have any other choice. And every that I've spoken to about this has told me that they'll be shocked if the judge grants him anything, given his history and the fact that my son is autistic and needs the stability of one home.

Relax....I was just making a comment that it's going to be pricy.

Instead of going into court combative and accusatory....which will make you look bad...I suggest focusing on the best interests of your child. You've indicated that he is autistic and needs stability, so suggest that visitation happen in your state rather than his.

Stay away from the he said/he did crap, focus on the child.

I wasn't uptight. You don't know that I'll be taking a plane and you don't know that I don't have someone free to stay. Just sayin'.

I'm not going to court combative and accusatory. I've already got my whole case planned out, I'm not worried about it.

how do you have a kid and not work? dont' you have a sense of responsibility to support your child? even if you're getting a smurf ton of child support.. it's your child too?

meaning you';re on assistance and can't support your child. Have fun with that. If he can prove he can provide for the child... you could very well lose this battle

Again, it's not really any of your business, but no, I'm not on assistance and no, I'm not getting any child support because he doesn't work and he lives with his mother. How I provide for my child is my business and mine alone.
