Money Order

Does anyone know offhand where one might be able to purchase a money order for over $2,000 in the evening or late at night?

Some gas stations will do it

Walmart has them

Thank you. Do you know if they can be paid for in Visa debit from my checking account? The problem I'm running into is daily atm withdrawal limits, but my POS limit is higher.

I'm pretty sure you can, i used to get money orders with my debit card. That was a few years ago so it might have changed.

I pay my rent with money orders. They have to be purchased with CASH. They won't let me use my debit card. I don't know if it's the same for all money orders but the Western Union ones here need to be purchased cash.

That could be an issue. I guess I'll have to wait and see. I might also be able to to a mobile transfer of funds though. Worst comes to worst I have to wait till Saturday to take care of this.

Can you call them and ask? Almost all grocery store customer service desks, some drug stores, Walmart, and most gas stations do money orders. It might be different in your state.

I could call them, but I am already going to Sheetz in a minute for gas, and then I will be next door to a Walmart after. If they won't do it I will call around other places for the next night. I wish I could just get to the bank in the day hours.
