Pants???

My aunt just yelled at me and said my pants I am wearing are not good for the baby becuase they sit below my belly and that not wearing materinty pants or leggings can cause birth defects do to the placenta and other things not getting air or something... Is this true???? I dont wear tight pants or legging my pants are loose and so are my leggings but do I need to switch?

I have never heard that I never wore maternity pants always wore my reg pre-preg pants and was never told that.

That sounds rediculus. If you're comfy that's what matters.

Thtas what i said haha that maternity pants sit under neath as well and she was like 90% dont haha I looked at her like she was nuts haha well she thinks becuase she went to school and took a couple classes she is a professional nutroisnist and knows what is best and that milk is terrible thing for u and so is yogurt and idk what else she harps at me for eating so mayve she just wants to thinks she knows things

That could be true, but I doubt its because of their pants.  

Yeah my boyfriend's mom told me in the beginning (when I still fit in regular jeans) that she doesn't like when pregnant women wear regular pants because she feels like it suffocates the baby. It's all in their minds. Maternity clothes weren't always around ya know.

Neither were regular womens pants. (Speaking of pants, I need new pants now!! :-S)

Definitely not true. My fiance's grandmother has yelled at me for wearing tight pants, saying I'm blocking the blood flow to the baby (what am I blocking? My heart is above my waist, as well as my belly..), I think she's just being old-fashioned and crazy lmao. As long as you're comfy, that's all that matters.
