IBS attacks

Is it normal to feel exhausted after an IBS attack? It happens every time. Like extremely exhausted :/

Ya i have crohns disease and after every flare up i am so tired for a few days!

yes. for me it's because the pain is so intense that after it's over my body is exhausted from the pain

It drains me & friggin sucks! I was cleaning the kitchen & had plans to hit up Walmart & now I just wanna go to bed

i'm pregnant and the other morning at 6:30 it hit me. it lasted til 9 and it was by far the worst attack i've ever had. the pain was so bad i was puking over and over. when it was finally done DS woke up so i couldn't go back to sleep

Oh wow   they've never caused me to vomit but I've felt close! That's rough!!

yea that was the first time i've vomited like that from the pain, it was by far the worst attack i've had. So does yours come in waves? like mine the pain will happen for like 2-3 minutes, getting worse at the end, then it goes away for a few minutes, then comes back. That keeps happening til i finally have diarrhea once (sorry TMI) then it's over with. But that last attack each "episode" lasted about 5 minutes, and they were the worst pain i've ever had with it.   anyway i'm just wondering if this is how the attacks are for you. They never really did anything to diagnose me with IBS, my doctor just said she was sure cuz of my symptoms. It started right after i had my son and never went away. Sometimes i have attacks every day sometimes i got like a month or two in between. I can't take medication for it while i'm pregnant so i just have to deal

They cause me to vomit too. I just found out I am pregnant. I will be 6 weeks on Friday and I am already having issues. Hoping it is not like this my entire pregnancy

Pain sounds the same for me, but diarrhea gives me some relief, but then my insides feel sore for a couple of days at a time.
