I paid $300 for a 3 year accidental warranty on a macbook air. My husband paid $99 for a 2 year on his ipad. The best part is if its not repairable they send you a check for the purchase price and you can do with the money as you please.

My insurance company offers it too its like an extension of our renters insurance. It's only $3 extra a month.

yea and they are pretty good to deal with. When the ipad broke we filed a claim online they mailed us a box and we mailed it in. They fixed it and sent it back. It broke again within two weeks because they used a crappy glass and didnt set it in right. I was on vacation when it happened. I emailed them pictures they sent me a box at my in-laws and issued me a check for the replacement no questions or fighting.
