Soren

It's a boy name... After the Danish philosopher Soren Kierkegaard. He is considered to be the first existentialist philosopher. Anyway, he is SO's favorite philosopher... etc. etc.

SO said that he used to think that he would name his son that if he ever had one... But I think he was saying it in such a way that protected himself if I hated it... I don't really dislike it. I actually sort of do like it. It's different and it really means something to him.

I LOVE it. I've thought of using it if I ever have a boy. I'm part Danish and my last name is Danish so I like that it went together.

Will you be spelling it the Danish way (Søren)?
I like it looks a lot nicer that way then with a traditional English 'o', it looks a little bland to me that way. I do like the name though, but I am a sucker for Euro names.
