Acne

posted 13th Feb
So I knew acne came with pregnancy but I didn't expect it to pop up on my back, shoulders, and chest. I've always used Neutrogena body wash because I am prone to breakouts from sweating during workouts but it's been YEARS since I've had anything like this. Anybody got any suggestions as to what I can do to clear it up?

You can use most over the counter medications but nothing with salicylic acid. I suffered with terrible cystic acne throughout my pregnancy. There wasn't really anything that made it better. Just tell yourself its worth it.

Accutane is NOT an over the counter drug. And no doctor would ever prescribe it to a pregnant woman.

I got pretty bad acne at first with this pregnancy. I use bar soap and body wash and it seems to have helped a whole lot.

You can use products w salicylic acid, they only say not to if you're going to cover your entire body in it. I use acne.org products for my face and haven't had it come back since. I use clearasil scrub on my back and chest.

Yeah, i break out TERRIBLY when i'm pregnant.   lol it's horrible. Thank god its not on my face, and the ones on my chest and back are slowllyyyy going away... just a side effect of pregnancy :/ usually around like 20 weeks mine clears up a lot. and once you have the baby it will be totally gone within a few weeks.
