Quoting Ꭶwan♥Nemö:" Not out to get them. But hyper aware of their single-ness. On fathers day, I was hyper aware of not having a father. Any other day it was not a bother but on THAT day, its hard. "
And I can get that. I guess it's just the people who feel the need to eliminate anyone elses enjoyment of the day that get me. I may not celebrate some Holidays, but it doesn't bother me if other people choose to. . . Likewise, before I was in a relationship Valentines Day didn't bother me. Now though? Any mention of it is met with an instant response of how "stupid the day is, it's really just an attempt to kick single people" and on and on.
I'm like. . . really? I mean, it's just a celebration. . .
