Quoting shes*almost*one!:" that is a smurfed up thing to say... anorexia is a disease/addiction and it has absolutely nothing ... [snip!] ... talk to a therapist nutritionist or ED specialist? im sure they could better help you arrange a healhty plan of exercising."Well I am sorry if it is smurfed up to say that - that is why I prefaced it saying I have not dealt with it. I was thinking of a way to motivate yourself to set limits that were healthy - not as a way of acting as if "if you love your kids enough". LOTS of people with addiction use the love of their kids for motivation. They do. It is how I quit smoking. I use feeding my kids as my motivation for why Dh & I eat healthy. We used to have terrible eating habits & often want to revert to that, but making meals for all of us keeps me on track. It wasn't meant to be insensitive.

Quoting LIVE.OUT.LOUD:" I struggled with anorexia from 13 until I was 17. Its still a daily battle but I have been doing really ... [snip!] ... I stop exercising I notice I get really depressed. But if I do exercise im triggering myself. How can I make my exercise work?"
Quoting Vivian [♥]:" Limit your exercise time. Only allow yourself 30 minutes or so everyday. If you make it all you think ... [snip!] ... only trigger you more. Maybe even not exercising every single day is good too. You know what triggers you and when to say when."
