Implanon

I've been really nauseous since getting this thing. Is that normal? I've had it for about 2 weeks now. No other problems, just nausea. Anyone else have this problem? I really don't want to be sick for 3 years.

Don't know much about Implanon...is it a hormonal BC? If so the hormones could definitely be making you feel nauseous.

My friend has this and she told me for a few weeks she had nausea...I think it's probably normal.

Yes nausea is common side affect. Same with mood swings and sporadic heavy bleeding.

Implanon did me terrible. I was nausea all the time, headaches from hell, tired, and I bleed NON stop after having it for about a month. I finally had it taken out after three months of terror. Hopefully it doesn't keep bothering you though :/

I dont have the Implanon but I do have the Nexplanon and I had that the first few weeks plus I have had terrible bleeding, like for 8 months straight I was heavy spotting/light period, and terrible mood swings. I have had it for 10 months and I hate it!!!

I'm one the small percentage with no side affect. No sickness, mood swings, and get a period every other month that is suuuper light. I'm liking it   only thing I don't like is it dropped my sex drive WAY down

Yeah the sex drive thing happened to me as in it completely dissapeared. I feel so bad for SO.

Same. Now my husband is worried if it went down cuz I am cheating. I used to harass him for sex now he has to harass me. I'm just like "I'm not cheating. I don't want to smurf ANYONE." Lol

Lol thats exactly how I was and how I am now. DD is a year and we have had us time 3 times since she was born. Im just ready to get this thing out.
