re: Breastfeeding - are we getting better or worse

I'm lucky that I'm stubborn, lol, because I have made it 11 months so far... But when I go to anyone in my family's house I have to feed him in bathrooms at those places too... :/ I'm actually surprised I made it so long.

I have thought about it. She's latched before, like when I was preg and the whole bfing a new baby thing came up. She's still protective of them haha. When she snuggles me she still puts her hand between them.

But maybe I can make a bargain for her to stop thumb sucking   she started that when she weaned. Hmmm.... The thought....

That's awful.   family should be supportive. Your LO is still a baby. There's no reason for him to wean unless he wanted to or if it was causing preg complications.

I'm stubborn too. Thats why I messed up my csection recovery trudging up to the nicu for 3 days every 2-3 hrs. And spending $100 on donor milk because I refused to let her have formula. And without me being stubborn she probably would have been in the nicu longer because I pushed for them to quit supplementing her and see if my milk was enough to regulate her blood sugar on its own.

If my family made me feed my kid in a bathroom, I wouldn't be seeing them anymore.

Am I missing something? I just watched it with my 4 yr old and I thought it was sweet and nice and appropriate for a 4 yr old.

I don't think it was felt as inappropriate in this thread, just society as a whole would see it as that because they can't seem to handle bfing for some reason

Some people just dislike the concept of breastfeeding unless you are sequestered away in your little cubby hole in the dark where no one, including your family, can see you.

But, other than that, yeah. Nothing wrong with that clip. haha
