I think since soooo many people are sooo opinionated and now a days feel it necessary to voice their "concern" over anything they "find offensive". It's not going to get any better for issues like these, imo.

Both. There's more a push to breast feed now, from certain groups. But the groups opposing it are also getting louder. It makes me really, really sad how unsupportive many people are about breastfeeding. One of the many reasons I would like to move to a different country.

I think it's gotten worse as people have started getting more "sexual" with clothing and what tv allows... I think it's ridiculous...

Breastfeeding isn't illegal in any state in the US. Idaho, Nebraska and West Virginia don't have laws protecting women so they can be asked to leave if someone doesn't like it.

There's way too much allowed to go on on some of the NETWORK tv series. I don't even like watching most of them, it's disturbing.

I think if I told people I was having a $10k surgery paid out of pocket, to ensure I would be able to BFd (like let's say I had something wrong that could be surgically corrected) MOST people would call it nuts & say I am going too far & take breastfeeding "too seriously". If I said I am spending 10k to get big boobs (I am small chested) the majority wouldn't say anything negative...even if they though it was stupid or vain & the rest would say GFY - do what makes you feel good.

I know... It's really disgusting. Then the allow all of that on tv and if you want to feed a baby in public, you are gross? I just don't get it.

Illegal to breastfeed in public. So anywhere but you're own home if anyone is upset by it, I can go to jail.

There was a link I had stating its considered indecent exposure but I can't remember where. I'd have to be able to get to a pc to find it. And here indecent exposure can make you have to register as a sex offenders for life. I read another article about them fighting national laws but can't remember where it's been a while.

No. I CAN be arrested for it here. I think I know my state's laws better than someone that doesn't live here.
