Everything is paid off!

Do you know how wonderful it feels to know that all of my bills are paid off before they were even due? Not only that but I had them paid off before my tax return even went through!
I still recieve medical insurance for my children and get daycare assistance but I am officially off of food stamps, and will soon even have my own car that I can pay the insurance on!
It's so weird. I really didn't think that with the way we were going that we would ever be able to start getting rid of our government assistance and actually be comfortable!
It feels so good. I'm paying for almost everything we get all on my own.

That's so awesome!! I feel a smaller version of that relief twice a month after I get all the bills paid!!

WTG momma! It is good when you feel like you have got it managed financially. It feels much better than winging it & then scrambling...for sure. I was amazed at how good it felt to make our last house payment too.

Now we're weighing out pros & cons of taking out a home improvement loan for some remodeling & such, but in the meantime we are saving & deciding whether to just wait until we save up for it. It felt so good to pay off in the first place, I am not real quick to want to go back to payments.

I hope to be saying the same thing in the next few years, it gets to me that we can't make it without help right now. A blow to my pride. Once I finish school and once he is able to find a permanent teaching position and I find a teaching position, we'll be able to start putting money back into the system to help other who are just like us, just needing a little help to get by until things get better.

I paid off my Orkin bill that was a $75/month bill. Such relief!

I can not wait to be able to say the same! The only assistance we get is FS, but I am beyond ready to get out of this rut so we can afford to pay for EVERYTHING on our own again, it really is a good feeling!
