going on 21 hours...

Of labor. My husbnd went to work. Kids aren't here. I feel like I'm dieing. Help me. I can barely walk. I don't have a birthing ball. And was told not to come back in till I felt like I wanted to kill somebody. What can I do to speed things up?

It's not really funny. What if something goes wrong and you can't get to a phone? What if you pass out?

I don't care how poor you are, he should be there. How far apart are your contractions??
Telling you not to come back until you feel like killing someone is a pretty vague description. I have delivered a 9lb baby naturally and never wanted to kill anyone.

Did they check you at the hospital? How dilated were you? How far apart are your contractions.


I agree they gave you a smurf answer. Every woman tolerates labor differently.

They checked me at 9 and I was 2. Checked again at 1130 and I was still 2. With contractions 1 min. Apart.

No he shouldn't have left. But he did.I can't control that.

O.o one minute apart they sent you home did you refuse cervadil or something they didn't even tell you to walk around for an hour and come back or something? 1 minute apart sounds like some pretty active labor  

If they are a minute apart you need to go in. What if the baby is in distress? If you're not progressing there's usually a reason, and a way they can help

arent you scared you're going to deliver all alone on your kitchen floor??
Can any of those people that are 5 mins away come be with you?

I'm terrified ill have the baby on the floor. Idk why they didn't keep me. The babies heart beat was fine. If I can get things progressing more my husband will come home and take me. I just want to speed this up so I can go have her. And not be alone.

You need to go back to the hospital.
