maybe it's because you're 36 weeks. But if that were happening to me I'm pretty sure they'd be giving me cervadil or having me walk or something o.o. I know they wont stop your labor but maybe they wont make it progress? I would still go in and just hang out in the lobby and labor if I had to. I wouldn't want to be home alone.

Just because the heart rate was fine then, doesn't mean it is now. You've been in labor for almost 24 hours. Contractions + no progress = stress on baby

to other responders.. people can be in early labor for days.. sometimes a week. if she's having 30-40 second contractions every minute.. its' not going to stress baby. She was only a 2.. and likely having mild contractions if they sent her home. They are not allowed to induce (or augment- help along) labor until 39 weeks without a good medical reason.

No.   but I did go to the Dr yesterday. My contractions aren't as intense. But I'm at a 3. !! He said it looks like I'm in early labor. I go to back tomorrow and since I'm 37 weeks today he is gonna go ahead and strip my membranes. Hopefully it works and we can avoid a c section.

phew! Im glad you didnt birth alone on the kitchen floor lol!

Im also glad to hear your at 37 weeks now! Thats a good relief too  

Okay first, i dont understand why people are bashing about hubby going to work!! Some people can NOT miss work! My husband looses his job if he takes any days off!! We have 4.5 kids!!

Now second, my suggestion would be when he gets home id go into the hospital, tell them your situation and see if they can induce, well they will call your ob so you might as well save time and call them directly.
