Hand foot and mouth what did it look like? What were the symptoms? I'm starting to question if my 4 year old has it. He's been having a lot of bloody noses lately because he's been picking at his nose. So I thought that the irritation and scabby looking stuff was from him picking. He's not picking for boogers he just literally picks at his nose because its dry and bothers him. I have a humidifier for him but he still keeps on with it. Anyway so he has a bunch of scabby things around his nose and some right at the opening, none anywhere else on his body that I have seen today. Would it be considered HFM or no?
hand foot and mouth looks like blisters and they arent on the nose they are inside the mouth cheeks tongue throat very painful usually with a fever and my girls wouldnt eat or drink because of the pain the bottom of the feet and palms of the hands sometimes get painful blisters but not all kids get them but it hurts for them to walk and hold things it really sux
Hand foot and mouth looks like gross blisters on their feet in between their toes, on their hands, and on the inside of their mouth, and a fever. Sometimes their throat hurts and they don't want to eat or really dink much.
Thanks guys. Yeah I also forgot to mention he's been kind of off since last weekend. He ran a fever for about a day and a half and hasn't had his usual appetite since then. And whatever is on his face seems to be spreading slowly. I'll call his doc and see what they think.
When my son had it, he was really cranky. Developed blisters on the bottom of his feet, on his toes, up his legs and then on his hands/fingers. Then he developed blisters in his mouth, on the roof, his tongue and cheeks. It sucked balls. He cried for a couple of days and wouldn't eat, either.
My son had it and was miserable. All he did was either lay on me and cry or sleep. He had a fever and blisters on his feet, hands and in his mouth. He would eat and barely drank. The only time I could get him to was about ten-fifteen mins after he took tylanol.
It doesn't sound like your little guy had it. Maybe call and ask his pedi? Or try some neosporin(sp?) on it first? If its dry or if he has gotten a cut that has now become infected it should help it in a day or two. And tell him to keep his hands off of it! Lol
