I am in pain some help?

posted 13th Feb
I am hurting horribly in the knee cap of my left leg, and in the back where it bends. It hurts so bad I can hardly walk as well  . It keeps shooting pains all up and down my leg, and at first I thought it was "growing pains" but now I don't think so. I don't know how to stop it. I have tried straightening it out and stretching, or bending it back...and a few other things to. But none are working. I am laying down now and I still feel the pain and it sucks :/. Any suggestions on how to get it to stop?

Did it just start randomly, or did you twist your leg or something? Maybe a warm bath will help relax things?

You need some extra potassium and magnesium. I've had the "growing pains" too and its just a diet deficiency

It doesn't sound like she's describing muscle cramps, though. This sounds more like nerve pain, IMO.

No it started last night when I was laying down. I thought I could sleep it off, which didn't work. I just woke up this morning and it hurt even worse. I did try taking a bathe about 2 hours ago, and it didn't touch the pain at all. I even had to sit down while I was making breakfast because it felt weak as though it was about to give out on me. And I don't know if swelling could have anything to do with it but for the first time I am swelling up some :/ my face a little, my hands (my engagement ring won't even fit) and my feet and ankles. Could this be part of it.

the pain sounds like LO is just laying on your sciatic nerve...but the swelling could be a sign of preeclampsia
