Kinda gross but...

Does anyone know if baby formula is bad for dogs? The reason I ask is because my dog is constantly 'cleaning' my LO, licking his mouth when there is spit up, and if LO spits up and it lands anywhere ie floor, clothes...my dog cleans it up...lol. Nice to have an in house cleaning lady, but wondering if the formula would be hazardous to her health...

Our dog does the same thing. At first we tried stopping him but he is so strong and with the baby in our hands its hard to keep him back. We just don't allow him to lick DS's face.

That's gross but no it will not hurt the dog. Can you imagine feeding your infant something that even a dog couldn't have??

Thats kinda what I thought too, if its safe for a baby should be safe for a dog right? It is hard to hold her back when I have LO in my arms. LO does let Licorice (my dog) know when he has had enough face washes...lol
