But if you have contractions every 2 mins or less they keep you even if progress is VERY slow. If you stay though & dont' progress, be aware they are mor elikely topush for c-section of they say dilation has stalled. I was stuck at 4cm, with contractions every 2 mins for something like 8 hrs with my last one. :/ With that said, contractions were every 2mins & I was at a 1 & it took me like 12 hrs to get to a 4. I kept going home, but they wer eoffering ot admit me from being at 1cm (and I had already been in labor for over 24 hrs THEN. Grrrr.). I chose to go home because I live so close I could walk, so I prefer to be home in that case. I'd feel MUCH differently I think if it were 40 mins away.
