Suggestions?

DD currently uses a Myride 65 for her car seat. We're going on a trip next week and will be flying (she has her own seat) which means we'll have to take her car seat all the way through the airport onto the plane, off again on our layover, and then back onto the second plane. I've been searching online and saw these cart things you can attach the seats to but they all seem to be in the $70 price range and that seems crazy for just one trip since we never travel. Do any of you mommas have some less expensive alternatives or just tips on getting her seat around easier.

If it is just a baby seat I don't see the issue. If it is like a toddler seat I just would either not bring it or check it. They don't have to sit in a toddler seat on the plane.

It's a large convertible seat so it's big enough to be a pain in the ass to get around but she's too little to not need it.

Call and see if they rent one? Are you renting a car somewhere? I don't see why airports would NOT rent these out but idk... they are pricey!

Thanks! Yeah after some of the information people gave me I would never check her seat, it's not worth the risk.

we always just checked her car seat...i know were not "suppose too" but the thing is like 50lbs and i hate traveling as it is. i have the WORST anxiety with planes
