EXACTLY. Having been born and raised in LA County, I've heard many stories and dealt with the impact of it. (Riots of 92.... I couldnt even go to school, scary smurf, living in Long Beach at the time). But it's NO excuse to take out a young couple or the police who serve. I have friends who are active duty LAPD (I know he's a great guy) and one in Riverside PD. I hate that they lost some of their brothers over this guy's crazy smurf.

He was clearly deranged, so it's hard not to wonder if his being a freakazoid had more to do with his firing than his supposed whistle blowing. I wasn't living here in 92, thank goodness. I honestly considered leaving town for a few days as soon as I saw the cabin burning. We're way over in the silver lake area, but still.

True. And not to mention the fact that he kept changing license plates. I think the stuff in SD was to throw people off, to be honest. Make people think he'd already left to Mexico so he could continue his attacks. That's just my theory though.

What I'm thinking too... Escape out the back, leave the gas on the stove going? Who knows. Like I said, I dont think the man is stupid. But... maybe he did give up..........

TBH, if the did burn him alive on purpose, I really don't care. He was a monster that needed to go, no matter how they did it.

I agree with everything you both are saying. I wish they were speedier with their updates.

re you guys watching them dig around for remains and stuff? Ugh, whoever owns that cabin must be PISSED. I'm sure it'll be paid for, but what a nasty mess.
