I was pretty surprised he was still hanging out in Big Bear. Not surprised at all that the cabin burned down. We were listening to the livecast on ktla yesterday and I turned to my husband and said, "did they just say they're going to burn the place down?" I swear I heard someone say they were going to burn it down on purpose.


Buuuut I may or may not have been completely sober and I guess that's how conspiracy theories get started.

Now the LAPD is denying that a body was found at all.

Yeah...because this is ridiculous. I really wish mainstream media would stop reporting on things until they have the facts. Look how they botched Sandy Hook and other things recently. Now this...

Pretty much. They make these things into such a spectacle. Our local news is already pretty much half COPS and half TMZ.

I give zero smurfs if he was burned alive or not. HE made the decision to kill an innocent couple, 2 police officers, and injured more. He was not going to stop. He made that clear in his little book online. However... MOST of us experience bad things happening and want to clear our names. WE DONT GO MURDER PEOPLE to prove a point.

Now... they shot tear gas. They didnt throw a bunch of flammable liquid and light a match. He could have A. Given up beforehand B. Come out of the cabin with his hands up after the fire started, or C. shot himself if he knew he was burning.

They couldnt even get the shot officers out, because Dorner kept firing. They had to throw a smoke bomb and go under the cover of smoke to even remove the wounded officers. He would have kept going, and kept shooting.

I feel no sympathy for someone who regards human life with such little feeling.

Wouldnt surprise me... the man is not stupid. He could have easily escaped somehow. Or... you're right. Maybe it wasn't even him. He's not the only large black man out there.

You know, I'd feel for anyone who actually lost their job because they blew the whistle on corruption, etc---but the second you go and murder two innocent young people for revenge on someone, to prove a point, whatever else---that sympathy flies out the window. How he got this weird Anti-Hero kind of thing going is beyond me. Yeah, the LAPD is corrupt, that's not been a secret for bunches of years, and in a city this size, well-it's not surprising. It seems like a lot of people are just so willing to paint the entire force with the same brush and somehow give Dorner a free pass on murdering people because of it, and that's ridiculous to me.
