Cheapie HPTs

I get those cheap ones from early pregnancy tests.com and I'm very familiar with getting what looks like a possible second line if I look back after the 10 min, it always seems to come up when it starts to dry, and I never pay attention to it really. Well I took a couple today because I'm wigged out the reason on not ovulating is cuz I'm already pregnant and I got a second "line" within the first 3 min both time but both times it looks almost like that 'evap' line I'm used to seeing as they dry except these ones seem to maybe have a faint bit of color, but I'm having a hard time being sure because of how faint they are. So my question is, anyone familiar with these tests and do you only ever see a shadow line as it dries or do you see them earlier, within the testing time window? What do you think the chances are that this is a real line?

I think the answers here won't help you and you need to go buy a real test.

that was really confusing but i think i understand what you are saying. i would say i think you're pregnant.

I used cheap ones with both kids and got positives and as it dried they got darker, even thought they were obvious. I went to the doctor the next day and had it confirmed. They doctor even told me they use the same equipment as in those home test so if it's a positive its a positive CONGRATS

Thats actually how i found out i was pregnant with my little one.   You have to let them dry! I was taking them for a few weeks before because i just didnt feel "normal". I used the dollar store ones and if you have 2 lines after it dries go buy a digital one!

You can't just talk about your hpt and not post pictures. That's against the rules..

I couldn't agree more, need pics;) And i'd say probably preggo for more than one to come up with the second line within the window. Congrats if it's positive!!

Lol, I thought about taking a pic but it was already after the 10 min window AND I don't want to tell hubs until I'm sure since this wouldnt exactly be eagerly anticipated, but since he's home he'd know what I was up to :/

I just buy the dollar pregnancy tests from the dollar store and they do the same thing. I took one early in my pregnancy and it showed a very faint second line but as it dried it got darker.

if its eating at you that bad, if you have anymore pee on another one see what happens

I told my husband I was going out for 'oranges' last night and grabbed a digital just to have on hand for my morning pee, says 1-2 weeks pregnant (then you have to add the 2 gestational weeks from before conception) so I guess I'm 3-4 weeks pregnant.....I hasn't sunk in yet

you said it wouldn't be eagerly anticipated....but are you okay with it?
