ughhhhhhhhh!!! :-(

I swear, if I don't get rid of this heartburn soon... I'm gonna go nuts. I take tums like candy, don't work. doc prescribed me prilosec... so far,, no good. Only thing that will take my mind off of it is feeling lil Tres move. He actually kind of tickles me. But then I get the surge of acid comin up in my throat. And I mean, it is about to make me vomit right now! :-( and its making me cramp, too. I'm so done with the heartburn. Nothing is helping. At all!!! :-(

i feel your pain momma! with my 3rd i had to chugg milk and take tums all day long. it was horrible.

have yo tried changing your diet in someways?? when i was pregnant with my son i had to change a lot of things around to make sure i didnt get heartburn. basically i couldnt eat any meat, peanut butter, citrus fruits/juices just basically a bunch of random things. until i figured out what would make me get heartburn and what wouldnt :-( if that doesnt help maybe try milk?? i drank 2% milk whenever i would feel it coming on. it wouldnt always take it away but it would make it hurt less. just some ideas :-) i hope it goes away for you soon!!

Muahahaha welcome to my world of pregnancy!   I have to take Zantac 150 twice a day to keep it at bay. It has been my one consistent symptoms with both girls.

Thing is: literally EVERYTHING gives me heartburn. I mean, even crackers. :'( I've tried milk, it makes me sick. I tried Gaviscon, makes mr sick. Tums and Rolaids help for a minute, but as soon as I eat, here we go again. My doctor just put me on prilosec... I'm hoping for some relief. (Its helping a tiny bit, but not much yet.)

Milk actually makes you produce more stomach acid.  Which is my biggest weakness 

t dont taste the greatest but baking soda water is the only thing that works for me! I use a tablespoon of soda in about a cup of warm water.

I've heard of that.

It really works. And after a while you get used to the taste.

I am sorry   I hate heartburn too! I have it horridly! I was on Zantac 150 mg twice a day, but then it wasn't working so they gave me Prilosec, and oh hell I got the side affects to the point of blurry vision. I stopped taking it and went back to my other and I plan to tell my doctor tomorrow. They say to give Prilosec a few days to begin working. So I hope it starts soon for you!

No fun. I know they say it takes a day or two. I'm just tired of not being able to eat for the heartburn and the pain in my tooth.

I know the pain I had to wait like 1 month to even see my doctor about mine in the beginning the zantac was working great after they put me on it, and now it only eases it off for a couple hours and then it's back  . But I know the pain to I was having it so bad I was puking up acid 4 to 5 times a day before I was put on something. I hope it gets better for you!! I really do! I hope the old wives tale is true!

I know the feelin. Its better for now. Thank GOD!! LOL it is true half the time. Gah I'm still in denial that I'm pregnant. Like, I know I am... but still can't believe you know?
