I'd just let her go commando. My daughter is always commando (besides when we're out in public) and she isn't even dealing with an injury. Just have her wear soft, fleece pants maybe. The underwear rubbing probably is quite uncomfortable.

poor babe!   I have had an injury like that as a child in a monkey bar incident, and it is definitely no fun at all!
if you are home with her, what if you just let her go commando for a few days until it heals up a bit?

She may think pull ups wont make it hurt and not understand its the peeing that hurts???

Yea I had a major freak out when I saw blood in that area. She the biggest bravest girl at the ER and I was so proud. As I was on the phone with the nurses line the baby climbed out of her crib (we have wood floors) it was a long very hectic night. I have been letting her be naked at home but we have to run to the store right now. She insisted on a pull up. I think the extra cushion helps and makes her feel better. I offered to let her go without panties but she said thats yucky. So not my child.

I would just let her go without undies. Poor kid.

She is peeing just fine. The big abrasion is right were you underwear would be between the thigh and pubic bone. The internal ones are below the vaginal opening and dont seem to be irritating her when she pees.
