Fingers

My little 7week old DD is chewing on her little fingers and hand... Is this just her curiosity or is she starting to teeth!? My poor baby/: i hate to think her guns are itchy and uncomfortable.

She could be teething or just excited to have found her hands and fingers.

Could be teething but babies use their mouth as much as their eyes, ears and hands to explore the world so could be just exploring her little hands.

Some babies are born with teeth....bfing should be fun with those!

Orajel isnt recommended until at least 4 months. If its teething the gums would be swollen and you would most likely see or feel the tooth on the gum. At 7 weeks its unlikely its teething and just exploring.

My son started sucking and chewing on his fist around 8 weeks. I thought teething also, but it wasn't until he was 4 months that he popped his first tooth then a little less than 2 weeks later his second!

could be a comfort thing... self soothing. dd did it for 4 months before she cut a tooth.
