Question about skipping a period on BC pills

Ok I have a quick question. SO apparently is planning something for V-Day. I have no clue what, all I know is he's planning something that me getting my period would ruin. Well, guess when that's supposed to start? THURSDAY.

My question is, if I were to start my next month's pills early, like right now, do you think it would stop me from having a period this month, or is it too late to try that, since I know if you skip the white pills for a month you can skip your period that month.

That's what I do, per doctor recommendation   just skip the blanks and go straight to the next pack. She said it's just fine, you only need a few periods a year

ive skipped the sugar pills and gone straight for the next months sevearl times to skip my period. works like a charm

But the thing is, I'm day 3 into the white pills. I had no clue he wanted me to skip my period this month.   Do you think it would still work?

I've done it and my doctor okayed it.

Have you already taken any of the placebo pills yet? If so it may be too late to stop it, but if not you should be good to go.

Oh. It might not work but I don't think it would hurt try.

Yes, I think it will work. I am going to be on my period on Valentines day   and I have no birth control ! Lol worst timing.

Holy crap this is news to me! So you can literally go from the third week of pills straight to the first week on a new pack and skip your period?

I used to skip my periods all the time. It should work. twont' know till you try it. everyone's body is different

Yes, because you're body just keeps getting the hormones from the pill so no period.

Ok, well, here goes nothing then!   Actually I'm day 2 into the white pills, since I forgot I usually go Monday to Monday, so maybe its not too late!

Next month is going to be a bitch though!

It should! You may get some spotting.. but no roaring rapids  

Idk I usually don't start my period until the END of the blank pills anyway. I'm pretty sure I made a last minute decision to skip my period halfway through the white pills so I started the new pack and didn't get my period

Oooooh I hope this works then! I only figured out SO had something planned because I asked for a backrub, since my back aches, and he told me I have to wait 2 days. Then I asked if I can at least get laid, and was told only a quickie because he has plans for Thursday night. I usually don't start until LATE thursday, so I hope this works! I started the white pills yesterday so I'm technically only day 2 into them.I had forgotten I don't go Sunday to Sunday anymore.
