tell me im stupid

I just got a call telling me I cant get into the fertility specialist until the end of may early june. Im desperate. Im thinking of buying clomid online.I was diagnosed with pcos.I want to be a mom more then anything.Talk me out of it, tell me its stupid.Why cant i just be normal and have a baby like every last person around me? why ? Seems like gods cruel joke that last little while.

Have you tried metformin yet? Your ob should be able to prescribe clomid and metformin. Mine did metformin and was going to do the clomid too if I didn't get pregnant.

There is no other fertility doctor you can see sooner?

Don't buy clomid online. I've heard it isn't real and is basically the equivalent of buying a knock-off purse from Chinatown.

So does mine. I never had to see a fertility specialist   And I think metformin is also commonly used for pcos sufferers.

Oh and I would never buy that online or without Wong under a drs care. It can have risky side effects. Plus I would want to know where it was coming from was safe. That just seems wrong.

why do you think you are stupid? Many women cannot get pregnant without a little boost. Talk with your doctor about getting a prescription of clomid. That way you know you are getting the real stuff and your doctor can monitor how it goes.

things are different here, the specialist will also be my obgyn.My doc did all the testing she could now is passing me on to the next.There is no other I can see here its a referal base type system...Our health care maybe free but id rather pay to get in sooner.It takes months to get into my normal doc. I just got a referal for a surgeon and thats not til may.(for something else) It takes forever here. blech.....

Oh didn't realize you were Canadian   yeah a couple months to get Into a dr is normal here too. And we pay out the ass.

Yup...after a year of ttc I went on b/c and metformin for one month. Went off of it, ovulated and here I am 27 almost 28 wks pregnant.

If they know you have pcos they should just prescribe meds to you and see they work before moving you on. That sucks!

It's ok sweetie. Just relax and enjoy your time with hubby alone cause before you know it you're gonna be wishing for some alone time with him haha

I know how you feel. But you should really try being safe while doing this. Buying a medication like that online is not the safest thing to do, especially without your doctors supervision. You're not stupid though. I just think you really need to think this through hun.

Maybe try loosing some weight? I'm not saying your fat or anything of the sort but with pcos every pound can help. I tried for two years with nothing, lost 40lbs and got pregnant in a month of trying again!
Just until you can get into that specialist.
