First time was WAY scarier.
Then again, I really had no idea what to expect. My 1st came early, so I hadn't really prepared yet. WIth my 2nd I wasn't nervous that much because I felt like I knew what would happen. WIth my 1st I really had NO idea, lol.

Honestly with the first I had the jitters. But it wasn't that bad, unfortunately growing up I had the WORST period cramps and my labor pains were not much worse. But my doctor recommended the epidural just for delivery. I took it and got stuck at 8 cm. So the second time around I was set on NO epidural, I didn't need it the first time and regretted it. Well that labor hurt worse then the first. I took showers, bounced on the ball, bla bla bla, it was just so painful. But I made it threw with no epidural. Point being I think I would be scared IF there was another go around just because I wont know what to expect since the 2 I had were so much different from each other.

2nd time was scarier for me. With my first, I was nervous bc I didn't know what to expect, but I wasn't really scared. But, I should have been lol He was huge and my plan had been to get an epi, well the anestesiologist was on a power trip that day and told me I couldn't have it. Pure hell. So, the next time my plan was again to get the epi, but of course I was terrified that I wouldn't get it. Thankfully I got one with my daughter and it was easy as pie. It might be a good thing my first experience was so bad, bc if labor had been as easy as it was with my daughter, I'd have a dozen kids lol

Labor never scared me, even when I had my 1st, but my 1st was born with birth defect so any nerves I had about myself, I got over pretty quick early in pregnancy,
After having him, I guess the anxiety of adding another baby to what I thought would just be the *momma and dean show*
I didn't want anymore kids soooo knowing I was having another, and I was gonna be stuck dealing with another babies daddy for rest of my life worried me...
When I got preg with maks I had an iud in. I was more afraid of impact on dean and jade, especially since jade was barely 1 when I got preg, I felt guilty like I cheated her out of being *the baby*

My first I really wasn't scared..which I thought was odd lol. With this being my third I've had moments where I've freaked out at the thought of labor, I'm more scared this time around then my first two.

for me second time is scariest... the first time i kind of knew what to expect since i worked in daycare almost 10 hrs a day 5 days a week..i knew the basics.. & honestly when he was born everything fell into place perfectly..
this baby though, with having a 3 year old.. i have no idea how i'm going to do it.. and i'm scared lol

I am more relaxed this time around and I feel more informed, I know what to expect, I know what they will or will not do, and I know now that I do have a say in certain things so I don't feel pushed around in the delivery room lol most dr.s and nurses hate you having information or an opinion but it's nice to know I can make informed decisions this time around without fear of making some sort of mistake.
