Stool for reducing Sugar

I have done an stool analysis for my baby ( 3 months )
the result is :
stool for reducing sugar : positive

what does it means ?
does any one face it ? and what is the normal treatment for it ?

I can't wait till asking my doctor tomorrow

A positive for reducing sugars generally shows that there is a malabsorption issue. It could be a variety of issues, one of the most common being the inability to digest lactose.

I'm sorry that's so general but do know that there may be a simple solution.
