Twins???

So I went to the OB last Tuesday she did an internal exam and said I'm either farther along than I think or I'm having twins!! How can she know that just by feeling my cervix?? Crazy thoughts running through my head! I have a ultrasound on the 19th so we shall see!!

Same thing my Dr said... I now have 2 yr old twins

Maybe it feels different? I dunno. I've never heard of a doctor predicting twins that way lol. But I gues its possible

Did your ob feel your abdomen by pushing on it?

That's what I said... I seen the US tech next day seen two heads about threw up.

Only thing I can figure it the length felt off. This wouldn't work in my case if that is how they guess because my cervix is always short. lol

I was told the pressure on your cervix while pushing on the abdomen is a good guess on how far along you are.

She just said my cervix is bigger than it should be for how far aling I am!

Gotcha! Yeah they would probably never do that to me because pressure is not a good idea with my cervix.

Hm. I've never heard of that. But every time I had my first prenatal appt he said that my cervix and uterus are about where they should be for as far along I was. So I'm not sure. I guess you will find out in a week. Good luck.

they feel how big our uterus is. They feel the cervix and then press down, and they'll feel how big it is.
