thanks for the heart attack doc.

I hate how the doctors where I live get you all worried. Took my 4 year old to er because she's been having a ton of nosebleeds lately and she got one while on the toilet pooping and a ton of blood and a clot came out of her bum. After waiting 3 hours to get into a room and another 45 mins for the doc to come in the first thing he said after introducing himself is she could possibly have leukemia from what her chart says... nope. Don't bother actually looking at her or asking me about what happened. Lets just assume she has leukemia. So after waiting another hour to get her blood taken and tested it thankfully came back negative for leukemia and whatever blood diseases they tested for then he decides to actually examine her to try to figure out what's going on. It turned out to be nothing serious and the two were unrelated but I was like wtf?? You couldn't have just done that in the first place instead of getting me all worried about nothing??
End vent I guess. :

Wow, that's crazy. Who says something like that without even looking at the patient or asking any questions first?! Glad it wasn't anything like that though. I can only imagine your relief when the tests came back negative!

oh wow. Do they send you surveys to take about your experience? I know at ours they do. I would be filling out and speak a piece of my mind.If they don't I would be calling or I would have complained right there
