depo ??

i am thinking about going on it but i have heard it messes with your body, my question is in what way?

DON'T DO IT. Weight gain, excessive persistent never ending bleeding, and raging hormones 24/7. I would never recommend it for anyone.

Don't. I gained weight, had terrible periods, and got pregnant on it.

there are different side effects for different people. i personally never had any side effects with it. i never had a problem with my period starting back up or anything. now i do know people who was on it and some gained weight some losr weight, some didnt get their period for over a year after stopping it, and i have also heard of people hair falling out. like i said, i had none!!!

I know the effects are different for everyone but when I was on it...

-major weight gain
-sore boobs
-horrible menstrual cramps
-periods were much heavier
-night sweats
-pms symptoms changed to include migraines, nausea and food aversions
-horrible acne and super oily skin

When you do depo for over a year, it can cause temporary infertility when you come off of it. I have no experience with that in particular, jjust know a few people who struggled to conceive after discontinuing depo.
