I have very high pain tolerance and very strong will power. Of course I don't know, but if it hurts I'm going to suck it up.

DD was FF and that smurf stinks. But she NEVER had any problems, neverrrr spit up or anything.
But I feel like I did her a disservice not BF her.

You love her though, right? you did not do her a disservice.
I only managed to BF exclusively for 3 days then i had to combi feed with DD. There is nothing more important to me than BFing this baby exclusively to 6 months and then BF until they self wean, If you need anything I would be so happy to help, I have learned a smurfload from my mistakes with DD x

Quoting Vivian [♥]:" How will I know if I need a shield? Do they provide those in the hospital if I did?"
My hospital did. If you have flat/inverted nipples you usually need one, or if baby is just stubborn and won't latch. Mine are flat, but when he starts eating with the shield on it pulls it out, he's fed twice without the shield, and IMO it was a lot more painful, so i don't mind the shield terribly, but, if he needs to eat in public it's a PITA.

I find nursing bras to be a lot more messy, but maybe my son is just a messy eater. I just wear a regular cami and pull the strap down.

I have DD not pregnant or breastfeeding. And when I was breastfeeding my son (for 2 1/2 years) I got all the way up to a size G. It is possible to breastfeed with big boobs. You just have to figure out which positions work for you and the optimal way to pinch your nipple to let baby feed best.
